Our film selections aim to inspire an awareness about our local environment through themes of athleticism, humanity, and sustainability. Montauk Film Festival is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

– Environmental : Films that seek to make an impact or open our eyes to issues on our planet
– Social & Cultural : Films that highlight inclusion, representation, adversity, and global stories
– Surf & Turf : Films that highlight extreme sports & athletics on the sea and land
– Community : Films that are Athletic, Comedic, Dramatic, Environmental, Experimental films, and LGBTQ films created and cultivated by filmmakers on Long Island & NYC area
